Presenter of: RMornings
Year started at Revelation TV: 2015
How you became involved in Revelation TV:
I had been working in a job I had planned to stay for 2 weeks for 3 years….every day I would pray to the Lord for direction, purpose…something. One day – “out of the blue” something came along ; "did I know anybody who wanted a part time job with Revelation TV?", "Yes me !" I started afternoons only – 6 months later I was full time.
Why Revelation TV is special:
Revelation TV is so special to me because it’s real and it’s personal. And that’s what Christianity should be about. Our viewers are not strangers on the other side of the screen – who watch and turn off, but participators with us in what Revelation TV is. Our part is being the larger body in the body of Christ.
From the first day I started, I was overwhelmed with the love and thankfulness the viewers have for Revelation TV, for the Presenters sharing their lives and their hearts, and for the personal nature which goes from the screen to the office to the technology. I am blessed to be part of a 21st century ministry that is able to share the gospel through the wonder of media and technology that we have nowadays, where we are able to reach so many people with the gospel.
We are a ministry first and foremost – in all that entails
Something interesting about Jacqui:
I have lived in Spain on and off since I was four years old. My parents were the original expats. So even though I went back for school, University and then lived and worked in London for years I have always regarded Spain as my home.
I produced a Christian magazine called Hope on the Coast for a short time.
Soon after meeting the Lord I went and spent two years at college in what was then called Abundant Life Ministries headed up by Paul Scanlon and Charlotte Scanlon Gambill in Bradford, it was very cold ! But I learnt a lot.
And I continue to learn – being a Christian means we get an opportunity to learn and grow and change through Him, though His Spirit. To be a light to a hurting world. I press on trusting in the Lord.
