Meet our presenters

Hi I’m Laura Richardson, a disciple of Jesus Christ since I was 18 and a medical doctor for 24 years. I started presenting as the doctor in the house on Revelation TV from the Cleveland Street studios in 2005 as part of Rmornings, then had a programme “Health in Focus” till 2012. I then co-presented “Health Matters” with Birgit Whelan in 2015 and I am now back co-presenting “To The Point” with Dr Richard Kent. It’s a privilege to use my God-given skills and knowledge to bless the body of Christ, and it comes as a fulfilment to a prophecy from God in 1999, when He told me I would be involved in media. If you knew me back then, you would have known it could ONLY have been God!! When I am not healing the sick, raising the dead and making the blind see (I live in HOPE!) as a GP, I am studying to become a Nutritionist and Counsellor. I also love to sing - both worship and Jazz. One of my past highlights was meeting Ella Fitzgerald in person in 1985. I sing regularly in Worship teams. I have written songs which I receive royalties for. I also love to dance and keep fit at my local gym at least twice a week. When God told me I was going to be a doctor at the age of 14, it seemed every door was closed to that possibility. I lived on the faith of my mum and older sister, as they encouraged me that if God REALLY had spoken, it would come to pass. His WORD will never return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). And He watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Is anything too hard for God (Genesis 18:14)? For with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). I have seen the goodness of the Lord even before I knew and acknowledged Him to be the source of that goodness, and He remains my constant Saviour, Lord, Friend, Shield, Refuge, Comforter, Provider, Lover of my soul, Armour bearer and Help in all areas of my life. I believe Jesus Christ is the first and ultimate Healer, and our bodies have been designed by God to do a lot of self healing without the need for doctors. But Jesus was the first to affirm the need for doctors (Luke 5:31), as we live in imperfect jars of clay. I pray I will be a blessing to you as you watch “To The Point” weekly.
